my-health-history is a comprehensive software package to record your and your family's medical and health history and important documents.everytime i go to the doctor's office the first thing they ask for is a list of my medications, dosages and how long have i been taking them. this usually means digging out the shoe box of pill bottles and listing all the prescriptions. wouldn't it be nice if i could go to my computer and just print a list to take with me?for many people, lab test results are a meaningless page of numbers. at best they give just a snapshot of your current body chemistry. wouldn't it be nice if i could track these results over time to see if the results get better (or worse!)? also, it would be nice i could automatically link to an informative (and reliable) website to get an explaination the results!i broke my glasses and called a major chicago hospital eye clinic to get a copy of my vision prescription. i was told that they would call me back in a couple of days after they had retrieved my prescription from their archives. wouldn't it be nice if i could record the prescription on my computer and even save a snapshot of the original prescription document.speaking of documents, wouldn't it be nice if i could scan or take a snapshot of my important medical documents, e.g., birth certificates, immunization certificates, etc., and save them in one program on my computer?where applicable, my-health-history can give you a list of websites that you can visit and get more information related to the health information you are recording.and so on, so on, ... my-health-history gives you the capability to do all of the above plus a lot more. additionally, my-health-history can print out some or all of your records to take with you to an appointment or for hospitalization.my-health-history is a family oriented program giving each member of the family a complete set of records. access to any or all of the family's records is controlled by a user name and password.one user can be designated as a 'super' user and have access to all family member's records. this keeps children, or others, from viewing private or sensitive data.
