Kotoba 11
Kotoba is japanese for words, or speech. Japanese is written using three “alphabets.” Two of those three, called hiragana and katakana, are syllabaries (each character is one syllable long with no intrinsic meaning).
Each syllabary is about 46 basic characters. Kanji is the Japanese word for Chinese characters and is logographic (basically, each character has a meaning).
