- Dual DHCP DNS Server is a non-interactive daemon written in C/C++ that provides an open source DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Name System) server for the Linux, FreeBSD and Microsoft Windows operating systems.The DHCP part of the project supports PXE boot, Relay Agent, BOOTP (Bootstrap Protocol), DHCP Range Filters, 125 ranges, as well as range specific options. The DNS part supports Zone Replication and Zone Transfer.Dual DHCP DNS Server is capable of detecting listening interfaces, it is easy to configure, allows replicated operations for both DNS and DHCP, and requires little RAM and CPU power.
