Peers was developed as a a very small and simple softphone application.Peers is a SIP User-Agent that's developed in the Java programming language and can work on multiple platforms. It can be used with SIP servers like opensips or asterisk IPBX. Peers comes with support for the G711 codec (PCMU and PCMA) and can handle telephone-events (DTMF).
