Totem is an open source graphical software, a GStreamer based movie player especially created for the GNOME desktop environment. It can play almost any format supported by the GStreamer codec packs.The Totem player features a playlist, a full-screen mode, volume and seek controls, as well as a pretty complete keyboard navigation.Other functions, include a video thumbnailer for the GNOME file manager, Nautilus properties tab, a plugin for the Mozilla Firefox web browser, which allows users to view online movies, and command-line video properties helper (for indexers).LIRC support, screenshot functionality, DVD and VCD support, OGG and OGM subtitles support, Telestrator mode, accurate seeking capabilities, are also included in Totem.
