Cainteoir Engine is a small, yet very powerful project that provides a library software implemented in Python and C++, and designed for recording or reading various document formats.Cainteoir Engine supports reading and recording of RTF (Rich Text Format), HTML (HyperText Markup Language), ePub, email, and MHT (MIME HTML) formats, as well as outputting to the OGG Vorbis, PulseAudio and WAV audio file formats.Additionally, the project comprises some command-line utilities, such as the cainteoir front-end, the tagcloud tag cloud generator, and metadata for extracting metadata from documents. It only supports Linux.
