Sakura is an open source command-line software written in C/GTK+ and designed to act as a VTE-based terminal emulator. The project aims to provide a terminal emulator that only depends on GTK+ and VTE.Sakura features a tabbed interface, it doesn't depend on the GNOME desktop environment, so it can be used on other desktops where the GTK toolkit is installed.When compared with the GNOME Terminal application, the Sakura software uses a notebook to provide multiple terminals in one window, and includes a contextual menu with various basic options.
