Nightingale is an open source graphical software written in C++ around the GTK+ toolkit and forked from the popular Songbird media player, which is no longer available for Linux operating systems.With its beautifully crafted user interface, Nightingale is capable of playing MP3, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, WAV, OGG Theora, as well as many other formats that are supported by the GStreamer multimedia framework.Nightingale is easily extendable via add-ons, can be customized to look the way you want, includes fast full text library search, an integrated browser, powerful library browsing and organization, and support for multiple operating systems, including Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
