CLucene is an open source, scalable, cross-platform and free port of the Apache Lucene software, written in C++ and designed as a full-featured and high-performance text search engine.Because is written in C++ and not in Java, CLucene is much faster than Apache Lucene. It is a searching and indexing API, which aims to be a very good replacement for Lucene.Being written pure C++ code, and using CMake, CLucene should work on any machine and support all major operating systems, including Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
