- SmartSynchronize is designed to help you perform multiple comparisons between files and folders. The program can also perform 3-way-merges and has the ability to edit the file contents. You can configure the encoding used for reading and writing, whether whitespace or line numbers should be displayed, whether changes in whitespace should be ignored or how inner-line changes should be detected. You are also able to export the colored display as a HTML-file. To support comparing files from different operating systems, SmartSynchronize allows to change the encodings used for reading and writing of the files independent for both files.
