download_opensubtitle is an open source script, a right-click service menu for the KDE SC desktop environment, allowing users to easily and quickly download movie subtitles from the opensubtitle.org subtitle hosting website.To install this script in your KDE desktop environment, download the archive by clicking the download link above, extact it and copy the download_subtitle.py file to some folder in your Home directory, such as ~/bin.KDE3 users should copy the download_subtitle.desktop file to the ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus folder, and KDE4 users should copy the download_subtitle.desktop file to the ~.kde/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus directory.To use it, right click on a video file, go to Actions, and click on Download Subtitle. A list of subtitles will be displayed and you can choose one that will be immediately downloaded and saved with the same name as your video file.
