FreeNewsReader Description

FeedLatest is a lightweight and easy to use RSS reader that can grant you easy access to all the news subscriptions you have from various websites and blogs. It’s fast to install and immediately ready for use. There is no configuring to do, all you need is a valid URL with the RSS feed and you’re ready to go. It displays a comprehensive, user-friendly interface that enables you to easily load and read material. All the content that is made available from a link is added to a list that displays the title, status and publishing date. From there you simply click one article and view its content in an adjacent window. With a simple right click, you are able to load the webpage where the article is posted, as well as bookmark it. When opening a default link, FeedLatest opens a new tab and displays the web page. This is a good thing since you normally can’t see any image that is attached to the article. The only problem with this is that you can’t close the new FeedLatest tab and opening a new one only replaces the current one.The application also lets you make use of some other helpful functions. You can for example search for a keyword or keywords inside the title of the articles, in the content or in both at the same time. The search can be applied for both active feeds, as well as for bookmarked articles. You also get to use a rather practical subscription managers for subscriptions, bookmarks and history, which enable you to always have just the content you want. You also get to choose how many articles are displayed per page at one time. With FeedLatest you are able to import and export the subscriptions to OPML format, allowing you to store them in case you need them at some point in the future. In closing, FeedLatest is by all means a practical RSS reader if you don’t mind the fact that you can’t see any attached images to the article without opening its original webpage. .You can free download FreeNewsReader from Softpedia now.
