dSM (distributed Service Manager) is a system prototype enabling seamless service transfer between heterogeneous devices. The objective is to offer a distributed mechanism, independent of the underlying operating system, that allows users to naturally and intuitively access and manage their services.The dSM project was initially developed as prototype in Vincent Verdot's PhD research work on service continuity in mobile environments. The program is functional but really buggy, many features are still missing, portability should also be addressed... actually it would worth so much more manpower.
