Sandbox is built entirely in AppleScript Studio, much to the chagrin of real programmers everywhere. This doesn't mean we've got nothing but three-button dialog boxes and boring input fields, though.
A peek into the user interface reveals a bevy of Shiny Things™ that make Sandbox far more pleasurable to use than display dialog: An organized, full-featured GUI with lots of pretty checkboxes; A software update system so you never have to come back to this page to check for updates (but you're welcome to anyway);
And a simple, easy-to-use panel for enabling and disabling ACL functionality. Sandbox is a tool for server admins and engineers, and power users—generally intended for those who have at least the fundamentals of ACLs under their belts, and not your typical home user.
