"Queen Maeve was a not very nice Queen, wife of King Ailill of Connaught"Edit by Brothersoft: Queen Maeve was a not very nice Queen, wife of King Ailill of Connaught, who coveted The Great Bull of Cooley belonging to the men of Ulster. Her own white bull had run away and this great black/brown ( some versions say black some say brown) bull was said to be big enough to provide shade for a hundred warriors. He was uncommonly potent and every day he would bestride 50 cows which calved the very next morning. Of course the men of the north did not wish to part with this great bull so the only way to get him was to steal him.Her coveting the great bull created a great battle resulting in many deaths on both sides. In the end the great bull himself charged the field and defeated the remaining cattle thieves. Sadly he later died from his woundsMaeve, of course, went on her merry way and had many
